Cases of missing minors are being increasingly reported in Ukraine’s temporarily occupied territories, particularly in Crimea, with teenage girls aged 12 to 18 identified as the most vulnerable group. This was reported by the Center of National Resistance.

According to available data, recent disappearances were recorded on March 8 in Alushta and on March 16 in Simferopol. At the same time, the response of the occupying “law enforcement” bodies raises serious concerns, as it is often delayed and limited to formal statements.
Families of missing children reportedly face a lack of clear communication and transparent search procedures. In many cases, information about the circumstances of disappearances is not disclosed, making investigations more difficult and increasing risks for the children.
The Center of National Resistance does not rule out that some cases may be linked to criminal networks, including human trafficking.
Experts warn that the situation points to systemic failures in ensuring civilian safety in the occupied territories, where basic child protection mechanisms are effectively not functioning.
The issue requires increased international attention and response, as it directly concerns the safety and lives of Ukrainian children.
