Deadlines for settlements for certain export operations have been extended

The National Bank of Ukraine has revised the settlement deadlines for certain export transactions in accordance with proposals received from the government.

Taking into account the results of consultations with the Ministry of Economy, the NBU is extending the settlement deadlines from 180 to 270 days for transactions involving the export of agricultural and specialized machinery carried out on or after March 1, 2026.

This applies to goods classified under the following codes according to the Ukrainian Classification of Goods for Foreign Economic Activity (UKT ZED): 8424, 8428, 8432, 8716.

It is expected that extending the payment deadlines will help increase the volume of agricultural and specialized machinery exports, stimulate growth in its production and investment in the development of machine-building enterprises, help preserve the labor force and create new jobs, expand opportunities for entering new markets, and ensure an increase in foreign currency revenues to Ukraine.
