On February 19, 2024, the Charitable Organization «Charity Fund «International Foundation of Crimea» was created — an initiative designed to become the voice of Crimea on the international stage and a support platform for Crimean communities in Ukraine and beyond.

The idea of founding the Fund became a logical continuation of Arthur Abduramanov’s civic and human rights activities. In his view, the issue of Crimea must remain at the center of the world community’s attention, and the Fund itself should unite the efforts of people and organizations to protect rights and support those in need.

The “International Foundation of Crimea” focuses its work on preserving the peninsula’s cultural identity and assisting people who have been persecuted or forced to leave their homes.

Its main areas of activity are defined as: support for internally displaced persons from Crimea and targeted assistance to those who remain on the peninsula under conditions of restrictions and pressure.

«Crimea is not just a territory on the map; it is first and foremost people, culture, and traditions that we must preserve. Our Fund was created to unite Ukrainian and international society around the Crimean issue and to do everything possible to preserve Crimea’s identity»,— emphasized Arthur Abduramanov on the day of the Fund’s establishment.

Immediately after its creation, the Fund began forming an international council of partners and preparing a series of projects that will combine humanitarian aid, cultural diplomacy, and human rights work.
