Court arrests suspect in Anastasia Berezovskaya murder without bail

The Pechersky District Court of Kyiv has imposed a preventive measure on Vladislav Reut, who is suspected of the murder of Anastasia Berezovskaya. The court granted the investigation’s request and sent the suspect to custody for 60 days without the right to bail.
The court made the corresponding decision during the consideration of the law enforcement officers’ request.
According to the investigation, Vladislav Reut is suspected of the murder of Anastasia Berezovskaya, whose body was found on July 6 near Kyiv with gunshot wounds.
The name of the deceased had previously appeared in the investigation into the assassination attempt on Ukrainian businessman Vadim Yermolayev, which occurred in late June in Monaco. According to law enforcement officers, Berezovskaya was wanted by Interpol as one of the main suspects in this case. Prior to this, German law enforcement officers had searched her apartment.
During the court session, the Pecherskyi District Court concluded that there were grounds for applying the strictest preventive measure.
Thus, the suspect will be held in custody for 60 days without the possibility of bail.
The investigation into the circumstances of the murder of Anastasia Berezovskaya and its possible connection with the case of the assassination attempt on Vadim Yermolayev is ongoing. Law enforcement officers are identifying all persons involved in the high-profile crimes, as well as the motives for their commission.
