Former head of state-owned enterprise reported on suspicion of false declaration of over UAH 24 million

The former acting general director of one of the state-owned enterprises was reported on suspicion of entering false information into electronic declarations. According to the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NACP), the total amount of hidden assets and income exceeds 24 million hryvnias.

What the NACP found

During full checks of the official’s declarations for 2024 and 2025, NACP specialists found signs of false declarations.

In particular, the declaration for 2024 did not reflect information for more than 11.5 million hryvnias, and the declaration for 2025 – more than 12.8 million hryvnias.

What property was not declared

According to the agency, the former official did not indicate in the declarations the cars that he actually owned and used, but they were registered to his parents.

Among the undeclared property:

Lamborghini Murciélago;

Audi RS 7;
BMW M8;
Hyundai Sonata.

In addition, the inspection established that the official did not declare more than 6 million UAH of income, which, according to the NACP, were used to purchase Mercedes-Benz CLS and BMW M8 cars.

He also hid a financial obligation in the amount of more than 600 thousand UAH.

What liability is threatened

The former head was informed of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – entering knowingly false information into the declaration of a person authorized to perform state or local government functions.

Further procedural actions in criminal proceedings are currently underway.
