Four candidates are running for the position of judge of the Constitutional Court under the President’s quota

Four candidates submitted documents to participate in the competitive selection for the vacant position of a judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine under the Presidential quota. The acceptance of documents lasted from August 10 to September 8, 2026 inclusive.

The competition commission published the list of persons who will participate in the selection. This is for one vacant position of a judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, to which the President appoints.

Who submitted documents

Four candidates will participate in the competition:

Oksana Shcherbaniuk;

Svyatoslav Onishchuk;

Oleksandra Yanovska;

Oksana Klymenko.

The competition commission announced the start of a new selection of candidates for one vacant position of a judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine under the Presidential quota.

The next stage will be further verification and evaluation of candidates in accordance with the competitive selection procedure.

Recall that judges of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine are appointed according to three quotas – the President of Ukraine, the Verkhovna Rada, and the Congress of Judges of Ukraine.
