Germany learns from war: Berlin strengthens defense cooperation with Ukraine

German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius said that supporting Ukraine brings Berlin not only political but also practical benefits. According to him, Germany is actively adopting Ukrainian experience in the field of unmanned technologies and cyber defense.

“Ukraine is developing innovations directly on the battlefield,” Pistorius emphasized, emphasizing the uniqueness of this experience for modern defense policy.

A new level of cooperation

Berlin plans to deepen interaction with Kyiv:

This was also stated by Economy Minister Kateryna Reiche, emphasizing the growing interest of companies in the Ukrainian market.

Finance Minister Lars Klingbeil confirmed that Germany’s budget includes significant funds to support Ukraine:

At the same time, Chancellor Friedrich Merz previously admitted that the issue of territories could become the subject of political decisions after the war, linking it to Ukraine’s European integration prospects.
