The High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine (HACC) has elected a new Chief Judge, with Judge Ihor Strohy appointed to the position. The decision was made during a meeting of HACC judges.
The court had been operating without a head since February 2026, following the expiration of the term of the previous Chief Judge, Vira Mykhailenko.
Ihor Strohy currently serves as a judge of the HACC and has experience handling anti-corruption cases. At the same time, he previously attempted twice to join the Appeals Chamber of the HACC through конкурс selection procedures but failed to pass the qualification exams on both occasions.
The appointment of a new Chief Judge is expected to ensure stable management of the court and support the continued consideration of high-profile anti-corruption cases.
