Since June, a new system of incentive payments for military personnel, initiated by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, has been in operation in Ukraine. The reform provides for updated mechanisms for calculating cash benefits, additional allowances and new bonuses for combat results.

As reported by the Ministry of Defense, in July, military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations will continue to receive not only basic cash benefits, but also additional payments depending on the nature of their service, the place of performance of tasks and the results achieved.

In particular, for military personnel who do not take direct part in combat operations, but ensure the functioning of units in the rear, a monthly additional remuneration of 10 thousand hryvnias is provided.

At the same time, the minimum guaranteed level of monthly cash benefits for military personnel will be from 30 thousand hryvnias. These payments will be received by those who are not involved in combat missions and are not entitled to combat allowances.

A special emphasis in the reform is placed on the system of incentives for combat results. For military personnel who perform tasks directly on the front line or achieve certain results during operations, significantly higher additional payments are provided.

The Ministry of Defense notes that the new approach should increase the motivation of personnel, make the payment system more transparent and fair, depending on the real contribution of each serviceman.
