In Sloviansk, a 100-year-old local resident applied for the first time to apply for a foreign passport to travel to Europe and visit her granddaughter. This was reported by the State Migration Service of Ukraine.
According to the agency, a citizen born in 1925, Oleksandra Ivanovna, applied to the Sloviansk department. Despite her advanced age, the woman is planning a trip abroad for the purpose of rest and meeting with her relatives, demonstrating an example of life activity and optimism.
The migration service also reminded that the application for a passport for a citizen of Ukraine to travel abroad is possible in any department, regardless of the place of registration. This greatly simplifies access to administrative services for citizens, in particular the elderly.
