Insurance payments to workers injured at work increased by 12%: what will change from March

Since March 1, 2026, monthly insurance payments for persons who suffered as a result of accidents at work or occupational diseases have been automatically increased in Ukraine. The recalculation also applies to persons who are entitled to such payments in the event of the death of the victim.

According to the Pension Fund of Ukraine, the indexation was carried out using a coefficient of 1.121, which corresponds to the increase in consumer prices and average wages. The basis was the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 236 dated February 25, 2026.

At the same time, the maximum amount of the increase is limited to the amount of 2,595 hryvnias. Citizens will receive indexed payments for March in April – in accordance with the current procedure for calculating insurance payments.
