Law enforcement officers are conducting investigative actions at the Khmelnytskyi NPP: Energoatom commented on the situation

Energoatom announced the conduct of investigative actions on the territory of the Khmelnytskyi Nuclear Power Plant.

As noted by the company, on June 25, authorized law enforcement agencies are working on the territory of the plant. According to preliminary information, the investigative measures are related to separate procurement procedures that were carried out in previous years.

The company emphasized that they are fully cooperating with law enforcement agencies, providing all necessary documentation and information in accordance with the requirements of the current legislation of Ukraine.

Energoatom emphasizes that they are interested in a comprehensive, objective and impartial establishment of all circumstances of the case, as well as in a proper legal assessment of possible violations, regardless of the time of their commission.

The current management of the company declares compliance with the principles of transparency, accountability and legality in managing a strategically important enterprise.

Separately, the company assured that the investigative actions do not in any way affect the production processes and safety of the facility’s operation.

Currently, the Khmelnytskyi Nuclear Power Plant is operating in normal mode, ensuring stable electricity production for the needs of the state and the safe operation of the power units.
