Marco Rubio called the Armed Forces of Ukraine the strongest army in Europe: what the US Secretary of State said

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that today the Armed Forces of Ukraine are the strongest army in Europe. He gave such an assessment of the Ukrainian military during an airing on Fox News.

According to Rubio, the Ukrainian army has demonstrated extraordinary efficiency in modern warfare, despite significantly fewer resources and numbers compared to Russia. He emphasized that the Ukrainian military has gained unique combat experience, which today has no analogues in Europe.

The American Secretary of State emphasized that the strength of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was formed thanks to a combination of international support and practical experience in conducting a high-tech war against the Russian army.

“Ukraine is a smaller country than the Russian Federation and has a smaller army. Although the Armed Forces of Ukraine are the strongest, most powerful in all of Europe. Obviously, because of the great assistance they received, as well as because of the combat experience they gained,” Marco Rubio said.

Rubio also drew attention to the losses of the Russian army. According to him, according to Washington’s estimates, the Russian occupation forces are losing five times more personnel every month than the Ukrainian side.

The US Secretary of State’s statement came against the backdrop of ongoing international discussions on further support for Ukraine and the security situation in Europe.
