People’s Deputy Maryana Bezugla announced that she plans to return to the Servant of the People parliamentary faction in the near future, which she left in 2024. According to her, such a step is necessary in order to achieve registration of the resolution on the creation of a Temporary Investigative Commission (TIC) regarding the military justice system.
The deputy announced her intentions on Facebook.
“I am returning to achieve the creation of a TIC”
Bezugla said that she was present at the meeting of the parliamentary faction with the participation of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, as she continues to support voting together with the monomajority.
According to her, during the meeting she emotionally addressed those present with criticism of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“I was in the faction with the President, because I vote with them, but I couldn’t stand it and shouted: “But Syrsky is killing people!”,” Bezugla wrote.
She also stated that she was forced to rejoin the Servant of the People faction because, according to her, they are blocking her ability to register the resolution on the creation of the Military Justice Committee.
“Tomorrow I will have to rejoin the Servant of the People faction because they are blocking my resolution on the Military Justice Committee… The head of the “Servant” Rules Committee, Kalchenko, is trying to prevent a non-factional People’s Deputy from assembling the Military Justice Committee,” the deputy noted.
Promises not to be silent
Maryana Bezugla emphasized that returning to the faction does not mean changing her political position.
According to her, she plans to participate in all faction meetings and continue to openly express her position on the activities of the military leadership.
“I will go to all faction meetings as long as I am there, I will not be silent and I will achieve a resolution,” she stated.
Previous conflicts
Recently, Mariana Bezugla has repeatedly become a participant in public conflicts. In particular, she accused MP Oleksandra Ustinova of connections with the Office of the President and stated that her husband allegedly evades mobilization.
After this, a sharp public dispute arose between the deputies on social networks. In particular, Ustinova sharply criticized Bezugla for her post after the death of MP Yaroslav Rushchyshyn.
