McDonald’s in Ukraine is temporarily switching to a reduced menu in all restaurants in the country. The reason was damage to the logistics partner’s warehouse as a result of a Russian attack.
The company announced the changes on September 30.
What will be available to visitors
The list of dishes that remain available for order can be checked directly in the restaurants, in the official McDonald’s mobile application, as well as in the services of partner delivery services.
The company emphasized that the reduction in the menu is temporary. Teams are working to stabilize logistics processes and restore the usual assortment.
The reason was the Russian attack
On September 25, Russian troops twice attacked a warehouse used by McDonald’s logistics partner.
This is a food warehouse with refrigerated chambers in the Brovary district. The first strike occurred at around 3 a.m., and the second in the afternoon.
As a result of the second attack, a large-scale fire broke out. According to the source, the warehouse with products completely burned down.
McDonald’s thanked customers for their patience and understanding and assured them that they were working to stabilize supplies and restore the full menu as quickly as possible.
