Servicemen diagnosed with certain diseases are entitled to annual cash assistance to address social and household issues. The payment is provided for by current legislation and is provided subject to the submission of an appropriate report.
Who can receive the payment
Servicemen who have one of the following diagnoses are entitled to assistance:
viral hepatitis B or C
HIV/AIDS
tuberculosis
It is important that this right is preserved even if the serviceman is out of state. In this case, the payment is calculated based on the last position held.
Amount of assistance and key conditions
Cash assistance:
paid once a year
is the amount of monthly cash support
The key condition is to submit a report in the same year in which the right to payment arose.
If the report is not submitted on time, funds for previous periods are not accrued.
At the same time, you can receive assistance even when you are discharged from service – provided that the right to it arose in the current year.
How to submit a report
You can apply for payment in two ways:
in paper form – through your immediate commander
in electronic form – through the Army+ application
Without a submitted report, monetary assistance is not assigned.
What documents are required
Documents confirming the diagnosis must be attached to the report. This can be:
discharge epicrisis or certificate of illness
extract from the medical record (form No. 027/o)
resolution of the military medical commission or conclusion of the medical advisory commission
As noted in the TCC and SP, payment is not made without proper medical confirmation.
