Monobank has a new feature for children: you can ask your parents for money through the app

A new feature has been launched in the monobank children’s app that allows a child to directly send a request for pocket money to their parents.

The innovation was announced by monobank co-founder Oleg Horohovsky.

The app now has a button called “Ask parents for money.” The child can specify the amount needed and add a comment explaining what the funds are needed for.

After sending a request, parents receive a push notification. They can immediately transfer the money or reject the request.

Restrictions have been set for requests

Parents are given 24 hours to consider the request. At the same time, a child can send no more than five requests per day.

Such restrictions are intended to prevent an excessive number of messages with requests for money transfers.

The new feature is available to users of the monobank children’s card, which is intended for children under 14 years of age.

Using the children’s card, parents can control spending, set limits on certain categories of purchases and cash withdrawals. The child, in turn, gets the opportunity to gradually learn to manage their own money and plan expenses.

Now, these features have been added to the ability to request pocket money directly through the application.
