Naftogaz announces open competition for the position of Chairman of the Board

The Supervisory Board of Naftogaz of Ukraine is launching an open competition for the position of the company’s CEO. An international company specializing in the search for top managers will be involved in the selection of a new CEO.

How will the new CEO of Naftogaz be selected?

The Supervisory Board of the company has decided to hold an open competition for the position of CEO.

An international company specializing in the search for top managers is planned to be involved in the organization and conduct of the selection. The competition will be held with the support and in coordination with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

The name of the company that will directly search for candidates is not yet known.

Who will temporarily head the company

During the competitive selection period, Serhiy Fedorenko will perform the duties of CEO of Naftogaz of Ukraine.

The terms of the competition and the date of appointment of a new permanent CEO are not yet specified.

Previously, former Prime Minister Yulia Svirydenko was mentioned among the potential candidates for the position of head of Naftogaz.

However, on September 10, it became known that Svirydenko headed the KSE Business School (Kyiv School of Economics), becoming the president of the business school.
