Oschadbank launched a program to support women’s businesses: loans up to UAH 10 million and grants up to EUR 8 thousand

The Women’s Business initiative has been launched in Ukraine, aimed at providing financial support to women who plan to open their own business, develop their entrepreneurial activities or want to scale their business. The program provides for lending, grants, consultations and training. In total, about 5 thousand women will be able to receive support.

What financial assistance can female entrepreneurs receive

The Women’s Business initiative combines more than 10 programs of Oschadbank, seven state programs and opportunities from five international partners.

At the first stage, female entrepreneurs have access to the bank’s credit products, in particular within the framework of the state program “Affordable Loans 5–7–9%.

The following financing options are provided:

Up to 5 million UAH – for the purchase of a franchise for newly created enterprises and startups.
Up to 10 million UAH – for the implementation of investment projects in the agricultural sector.
Up to 120 months – a possible lending term.
Up to 6 months – a grace period for repayment of the principal debt for franchise projects.
Up to 8 months is a grace period for agribusiness.

Funds can also be used to purchase equipment, replenish working capital, and develop the enterprise.

Specific financing terms depend on the selected program and the results of the bank’s assessment of the borrower.

Grants up to 8 thousand euros and new support programs

Among the support instruments is the program “Move Forward: Grants and Consulting for Microenterprises”, within the framework of which grant assistance of up to 8 thousand euros was provided.

Consultations on accounting, financial, tax, and legal issues are also provided. Participation depends on the terms and conditions of the relevant program.

In the fourth quarter of 2026, additional financing mechanisms are planned to be launched.

In particular, the BLOOM program will provide loans of up to 1 million UAH with the possibility of compensation of up to 50% of the loan amount for enterprises that meet the established criteria.

In addition, in cooperation with international partners, it is planned to expand grant opportunities for women’s entrepreneurship.

The total grant component of the comprehensive initiative will be about 2 million euros.

Free training and additional payments

In addition to funding, the initiative provides for educational programs for women.

In the first quarter of 2027, it is planned to launch a training program with the participation of EFSE and Civitta, which will be able to join approximately 2 thousand participants.

The training will take place, in particular, in Kyiv, Lviv, Odessa and Poltava.

The “From Training to Employment” program also provides for free retraining of women for work in the transport, logistics and construction sectors.

Upon fulfilling the terms of the program, participants will be able to receive 180 euros after obtaining a new specialty, and employers – up to 300 euros in compensation for mentoring.

Who can use the program and how to apply

The initiative is aimed at women who:

plan to start their own business;

already have entrepreneurial activity;

own or are co-owners of enterprises;
want to expand production or scale up a business;
need financing, training or professional advice.

At the same time, each program has separate participation criteria, so receiving financing or a grant is not automatic.
