Over 10 million rubles in salary in Russia: head of Russian construction company convicted in Lviv region

The Halytskyi District Court of Lviv found a 65-year-old resident of Stary Sambir guilty of collaborationist activities, who after the start of the full-scale war continued to do business in Russia and headed a Russian construction company. The woman was fined 85 thousand UAH with confiscation of property.
According to the case materials, the accused was the general director and co-founder of the Russian construction company Stroygrad. She owned 40% of the company, and she had been engaged in entrepreneurial activities in the Russian Federation since 2006.
Contracts for more than 41 million rubles
According to the investigation, during 2023–2026, the woman concluded contracts with Russian state bodies and local governments on behalf of the company.
The total value of the contracts exceeded 41 million Russian rubles.
This concerns, in particular, cooperation with municipal institutions of the Gorsky, Allaikhovsky and Ust-Yansky districts of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
As a result of the company’s activities, more than 5 million rubles were paid to the Russian budget.
Received more than 10.7 million rubles in salary
During 2023–2024, the accused received more than 10.74 million rubles in salary from work in the Russian Federation.
In hryvnia equivalent, this amount was about 4.7 million UAH.
Thus, after the start of the full-scale invasion, the Ukrainian citizen not only remained associated with the Russian enterprise, but also continued to manage its activities and receive income.
Fully admitted guilt in court
During the trial, the woman fully admitted her guilt and confirmed the circumstances set forth in the indictment.
The accused also expressed sincere remorse and voluntarily transferred 100 thousand UAH to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The court found her guilty under Part 4 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – collaboration activities.
A fine of 85 thousand and confiscation of property
Following the results of the case, the court imposed a fine of 85 thousand UAH on the woman with the confiscation of all property belonging to her.
In addition, the convicted woman was deprived of the right to hold managerial and administrative-economic positions, as well as to engage in entrepreneurial activities.
The verdict has not yet entered into final force and can be appealed.
