In Poland, some of the air defense forces and assets were temporarily put on high alert. The reason was the activity of Russian drones over the western regions of Ukraine.
This was reported by the Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces.
On the morning of September 10, the Polish military announced that due to the activity of Russian drones over the west of Ukraine, a decision was made to temporarily increase the readiness of the country’s air defense forces and assets.
Poland called the actions preventive
The Operational Command emphasized that the measures were preventive in nature. Their purpose was to guarantee the security of Polish airspace, primarily in areas bordering Ukrainian territories that were subjected to Russian strikes.
After the threat passed, the alert was canceled, and the forces and assets involved returned to standard operation.
