Political scientist Mykola Davydiuk will become a people’s deputy from Holos instead of Tsabal

The Central Election Commission has recognized political scientist Mykola Davydiuk as an elected People’s Deputy of Ukraine from the Holos party. He is to take the place of Volodymyr Tsabal, who resigned early at his own request.

Davydiuk enters the Rada on the Holos list
The CEC noted that the Commission received an official document from the Verkhovna Rada office on the early termination of the powers of People’s Deputy Volodymyr Tsabal.
Tsabal was elected to parliament in the 2019 snap elections on the Holos party list under No. 12.
After the termination of his mandate, the CEC recognized the next candidate in the election list, Mykola Davydiuk, who ran for Holos under No. 27, as elected.
For official registration, the newly elected deputy must submit the necessary documents to the CEC within 20 days. After that, the Commission must make a final decision on his registration.
Who is Mykola Davydiuk
Mykola Davydiuk, 37, is a Ukrainian political scientist, political analyst, and member of the Holos party. During the 2019 parliamentary campaign, he was one of the political strategists of the political force.
Davydiuk began his career in politics in 2006 during the local elections in Kyiv. In 2008–2010, he worked as an analyst at the Committee of Voters of Ukraine.
In 2011, he founded the Politika think tank.
Also, in 2014–2019, Davydiuk was a volunteer assistant to MP Ihor Popov in the Verkhovna Rada of the 8th convocation.
In 2019, he co-founded the public-political movement “Act with Us” together with Mustafa Nayem.
As a reminder, on May 27, the Verkhovna Rada supported the early termination of Volodymyr Tsabal’s parliamentary powers.
