Servicemen who voluntarily left the unit and decided to return to service can now undergo a simplified procedure for reinstatement in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was reported to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the new procedure approved by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, servicemen can submit a report for return via the Army+ mobile application, directly at the military unit or through the Ground Forces Recruitment Center.

The report is reviewed for up to seven days. After approval, the serviceman is given five days to arrive at the designated unit. During this period, he is granted an official status that confirms participation in the return program and allows him to avoid misunderstandings during inspections by representatives of the TCK, the Military Law Enforcement Service or the police.

The General Staff emphasizes that after returning, servicemen will be sent primarily to priority recruitment units. At the same time, the mechanism of transfer based on letters of recommendation will continue to operate for combat brigades that need urgent replenishment.

The new mechanism is designed to accelerate the return of military personnel to service and provide a more flexible approach to the restoration of personnel in wartime conditions.
