Russia may launch a new wave of forced mobilization in the occupied territories of Ukraine — “Atesh”

The Russian authorities may soon launch a new wave of forced mobilization in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. The greatest risks are currently recorded in the Zaporizhia, Kherson and Luhansk regions, as well as in the occupied Crimea.

This was reported by the partisan movement “Atesh”.

According to activists, the military enlistment offices and occupation administrations are already discussing the possibility of mass conscription of local residents into the ranks of the Russian army.

According to the movement, it is the temporarily occupied parts of the Zaporizhia, Kherson and Luhansk regions, as well as Crimea, that may become the first regions where the Kremlin will apply a new wave of forced mobilization.

“Atesh” notes that the occupation authorities may use the scenario that they already used in early 2022 in the territory of the so-called “DPR”. At that time, men were actually banned from leaving the region, and representatives of the occupation authorities detained and handed out summonses right on the streets, in shops and at workplaces.

Activists are urging residents of temporarily occupied territories to be especially careful, avoid crowded places, and, if possible, report the actions of the occupation administrations to Ukrainian resistance forces.
