Salaries in Ukraine have increased by 130%: which specialists are willing to pay the most?

In the Ukrainian labor market in 2026, salaries for individual professions increased by 50–130% compared to last year. The greatest dynamics were shown by investment analysts, climbers, car dealership managers, furniture production technologists and roofers.

According to the personnel portal Work.ua, salary offers for investment analysts increased the most over the year. As of September, they are offered an average of 70 thousand hryvnias, which is 133% more than last year. At the same time, the number of relevant vacancies decreased by 4%.

In second place in terms of salary growth are climbers, high-altitude workers and industrial climbers. The average offer is 67.5 thousand hryvnias, which is 80% more than in September 2025. At the same time, the number of vacancies decreased by 41% over the year.

Employers are willing to pay managers and directors of car dealerships an average of 80 thousand hryvnias. This is 60% more compared to last year, and the number of vacancies in this category has increased by 41%.

Who else has had their salaries significantly increased

Furniture production technologists are offered an average of 55 thousand hryvnias — 57% more than last year. Roofers show similar dynamics: their average salary offer is also about 55 thousand hryvnias, and the number of vacancies has increased by 16% over the year.

An increase in salaries was also recorded in a number of other professions. In particular, janitors are offered about 14 thousand hryvnias (+56%), technical supervision engineers — 50 thousand (+54%), programming teachers — 20 thousand (+54%).

Contact center operators, quality controllers, and retouchers are offered an average of 37.5 thousand hryvnias (+50%), and veneerers and art directors are offered about 60 thousand hryvnias (+50%).

Whose salaries have decreased

At the same time, salary offers in some professions have decreased over the past year.

Among them are team leaders with an average salary of 60 thousand hryvnias (-2%), project assistants – 30 thousand (-5%), pediatricians – 25 thousand (-7%), planning economists – 29.2 thousand (-7%), backend programmers – 55.5 thousand (-8%).

Among the above professions, salary offers for dental technicians have decreased the most – by 10%, to 45 thousand hryvnias.
