Serbian President Vučić arrived in Ukraine for an international summit

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić arrived in Ukraine on September 18. He is currently in Ivano-Frankivsk, where he will take part in the international summit “Carpathian Integration Discussion”.

The Serbian president announced his arrival on social networks.

According to Vučić, he is taking part in the event at the invitation of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. The summit should become a platform for discussing investment projects in the fields of energy, infrastructure and ecology.

What will be discussed at the summit

One of the topics will be the development of international transport connections. Vučić said that Serbia can offer a number of ideas for the construction and development of highways and railway routes between Romania, Ukraine, Poland and Hungary.

According to him, the development of such projects should contribute to international cooperation, stability and economic development of the region.

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk and Romanian President Nicos Dan are also expected to participate in the “Carpathian Integration Discussion”.
