The CCC explained whether it is possible to sign a new contract during the SZCH

Servicemen who are in the status of unauthorized abandonment of the unit (SZCh) cannot conclude a new contract until the official return to service. This was reported by the Khmelnytskyi Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support.

The TCK explained: before changing the type of contract or continuing service under new conditions, the serviceman must undergo the renewal procedure, be included in the personnel lists and restore monetary and material support.

Return is possible in several ways – through the Army+ application, directly through the military unit or through the recruiting centers of the Ground Forces and Airborne Assault Forces.

After submitting a report through “Army+”, the serviceman chooses the unit and direction of service. For the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Special Transport Service, the check lasts up to seven days, for the National Guard – up to 96 hours. In case of approval, the serviceman receives the status “On the road”, which confirms participation in the return program.

The CCC also drew attention: servicemen can choose a new unit only within the structure where they served previously. After completing all procedures and reinstatement, a new contract can be concluded.
