The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has completed the implementation of its part of the obligations necessary to receive international financial assistance in 2026. All the envisaged resolutions, orders and regulatory documents were adopted by October 15.

According to him, the next stage will be the submission of relevant requests to the European Commission and the completion of coordination procedures with the European Union member states. Only after the completion of these processes will Ukraine be able to expect the receipt of funds.

Similar procedures are also envisaged within the framework of cooperation with international partners outside the EU.

The Head of Government noted that the Cabinet of Ministers is working to accelerate all necessary stages for timely receipt of funding.

What decisions have already been adopted

During the current week, the Verkhovna Rada supported a number of draft laws related to the implementation of Ukraine’s obligations under the Ukraine Facility program, agreements with the International Monetary Fund and other international support mechanisms.

The Prime Minister thanked the people’s deputies for adopting the relevant decisions, but emphasized that the work is not yet complete.

According to him, the next plenary weeks of the parliament will be important for ensuring the receipt of international financial assistance in full.

When will Ukraine receive the money

Despite the government’s completion of the necessary procedures, the specific terms for the receipt of funding have not yet been determined.

Further allocation of funds will depend on the completion of agreements with international partners, as well as the fulfillment of other obligations stipulated by the relevant programs.

Thus, the adoption of government documents is an important stage on the way to receiving financial support, but does not mean the automatic transfer of funds to Ukraine.
