The government proposes to increase funding for theaters and circuses in 2027: how much will be included in the budget

The Cabinet of Ministers proposes to increase state funding for national theaters by 7.8% in 2027. Expenditures may increase by UAH 105 million to UAH 1.465 billion. The corresponding amounts are provided for in the draft State Budget for 2027 No. 16000.

The government also plans to increase funding for national art groups, concert and circus organizations.

They want to allocate UAH 1.465 billion for theaters

According to the draft state budget, expenditures for funding national theaters are proposed to be increased by UAH 105 million, or 7.8% compared to the previous figure.

Thus, the total amount of state funding should be UAH 1.465 billion.

More money has also been provided for circuses and concert organizations

The government proposes to increase funding for national art groups, concert organizations and their directorates, as well as national and state circus organizations by the same 7.8%.

This is an additional 66 million UAH. The total amount of funding in this area may reach 928 million UAH.

The final amounts may still be changed by the Verkhovna Rada

The proposed indicators are currently contained in the draft State Budget of Ukraine for 2027 No. 16000, which the government submitted to the Verkhovna Rada. Therefore, the indicated amounts of funding are not yet final and may change during the consideration of the budget bill by the parliament.
