The Government has decided to extend the initiative that stimulates demand for Ukrainian goods and supports domestic business
Cabinet Decision
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has extended the National Cashback program until April 30, 2028. The relevant resolution No. 559 was adopted taking into account the proposal of the Ministry of Economy.
The program will operate from May 1, 2026, during the period of martial law, but not longer than the established period – until the end of April 2028. The decision was approved by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.
What the program provides
The National Cashback is implemented within the framework of the state economic platform Made in Ukraine and is aimed at supporting national manufacturers.
Key mechanisms:
Cash compensation: Ukrainians receive compensation for the purchase of domestically produced goods and services.
Stimulating the economy: the program increases demand for Ukrainian products and promotes business development.
Analytics and reporting: after the initiative ends, the Ministry of Economy should submit a final report and proposals for changes in legislation to the government.
Effect on the economy
According to preliminary estimates, the program has already demonstrated tangible results: almost 5 million Ukrainians have used it.
“National Cashback” contributed to the growth of sales of domestic goods and became one of the tools to support the domestic market in wartime.
The continuation of the initiative until 2028 should consolidate this effect and ensure further stimulation of Ukrainian production.
