The Office of the President discussed reforms, anti-corruption policy, and support for Ukraine with the IMF

Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov held a meeting with the International Monetary Fund mission led by Gavin Gray. During the talks, the parties discussed Ukraine’s further cooperation with the IMF, economic stability and implementation of reforms.

Ukraine will continue structural reforms
During the meeting, Kyrylo Budanov thanked the IMF for its consistent support for Ukraine in times of war and stressed the importance of cooperation to strengthen the financial and macroeconomic stability of the state.
According to him, Ukraine is determined to continue structural reforms necessary for:
long-term economic stability;
post-war recovery;
further integration into the European Union.
IMF ready to continue supporting Ukraine
Head of the IMF mission Gavin Gray said that the fund is ready to continue supporting Ukraine and working on solutions that will help strengthen the economic potential of the state.
The negotiations were also attended by Deputy Head of the Office of the President Iryna Mudra.
She informed the IMF representatives about the implementation of reforms, in particular in the field of preventing and combating corruption.
According to Mudra, fulfilling obligations under the cooperation program with the IMF remains one of the key priorities for Ukraine.
IMF mission is working in Ukraine
Let us recall that the International Monetary Fund mission is in Ukraine within the framework of the first review of the new Extended Fund Facility (EFF) program.
The Office of the President noted that the joint work of the Ukrainian side and IMF representatives is an important stage for further financial support and stability of the Ukrainian economy.
