According to the results of the first quarter of 2026, the state budget of Ukraine was replenished by almost UAH 246 million due to the lease of state property. This is 30.7% of the annual revenue plan, the State Property Fund of Ukraine reported.
During January-March, 164 successful online lease auctions were held. The total amount of bidding results amounted to UAH 2.42 million, and the average price increase during auctions reached 1.7 times. Such dynamics indicate increased competition and the effectiveness of electronic bidding.
In parallel, the state extended 195 existing lease agreements for a total amount of UAH 1.83 million, which also ensured stable revenues to the budget.
The Fund explains that the results of the auctions and actual budget revenues may differ due to a time lag: funds are received after the completion of all procedures, and may also include payments for previous periods.
Leasing state property remains an important source of budget revenue alongside privatization. At the same time, electronic auctions contribute to transparency, increased competition, and increased state revenues from the use of assets.
