In Ukraine, entrepreneurs can receive up to 30 thousand hryvnias of non-refundable state aid to ensure energy independence of business during the winter period. The government has simplified the mechanism for receiving funds, abolishing the need to issue a Diya.Kartka.
From now on, financial assistance will be transferred directly to the entrepreneur’s special bank account. The funds can be used to purchase generators, batteries, charging stations and other equipment necessary for stable business operation during power outages.
Who is eligible to receive assistance
The program provides financial support to individual entrepreneurs who meet a number of requirements.
In particular, an individual entrepreneur must be registered by April 1, 2026 and have from one to ten officially employed employees for whom a single social contribution has been paid.
In addition, the entrepreneur must not have tax debts, be in the process of termination of activity or bankruptcy, be under sanctions of Ukraine or the EU, or operate in Russia and Belarus.
An important condition is to maintain the number of employees for three months after using the assistance.
How much money will individual entrepreneurs receive
The amount of state support depends on the number of officially employed persons:
15,000 hryvnias – for entrepreneurs with 1 to 4 employees;
20,000 hryvnias – for individual entrepreneurs with 5–7 employees;
30,000 hryvnias – for entrepreneurs with 8–10 employees.
Financial assistance is non-refundable, provided that the established rules for its use are followed.
When can you apply
Applications are accepted in two stages.
The first lasts from October 15 to 31, 2026. During this period, entrepreneurs who have not previously received similar funding during the year can apply for assistance.
The second stage is scheduled for November 2 to 27, 2026. If there are remaining funds, individual entrepreneurs who have already received the appropriate assistance will be able to submit applications.
What is allowed to spend money on
The received funding can be used to purchase:
generators and charging stations;
accumulator batteries and inverters;
uninterruptible power supplies;
voltage stabilizers;
electrical equipment and components.
It is also allowed to pay for services for installation, connection and adjustment of equipment.
At the same time, it is forbidden to use the purchased equipment for personal needs or resell it.
What restrictions has the state established
Entrepreneurs must use the funds received within 90 calendar days from the moment they are credited to a special account.
All payments will be made exclusively in non-cash form. Documents confirming the purchase of equipment must be kept for at least three years.
A separate report on the use of assistance is not required.
At the same time, the funds received are not included in the income of an individual entrepreneur and are not subject to a single tax and military levy.
In case of misuse of funding or submission of inaccurate information, the entrepreneur will be obliged to return the entire amount of assistance to the state.
The program is aimed at supporting small businesses in the face of energy challenges and ensuring the continuous operation of enterprises during possible power outages.
