The Supreme Court of Justice recommended that Zelensky appoint 10 judges: who is on the list?

The High Council of Justice has adopted a decision to submit to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi applications for the appointment of ten judges. These are eight candidates for the courts of appeal and two more for the local courts of Kyiv and Kharkiv.
The High Council of Justice adopted the corresponding decision on October 6, 2026.
In particular, the President was submitted applications for the appointment of judges to the Lviv and Dnipro Courts of Appeal, as well as the Kholodnohirsky District Court of Kharkiv and the Podilskyi District Court of Kyiv.
Who is recommended to be appointed as judges
The High Council of Justice has submitted an application to the Lviv Court of Appeal for the appointment of:
Ihor Chorny;
Viktoriya Buchkivska;
Ulyana Kostyuk;
Vitalii Radchenko;
Iryna Karpyn;
Volodymyr Marmash.
The Dnipro Court of Appeal is recommended to be appointed to:
Maria Dmytrieva;
Oleksandr Gayevy.
Two more nominations concern local courts.
Lidiya Ivanisova is recommended to be appointed as a judge of the Kholodnohirskyi District Court of Kharkiv, and Maryna Shakhovnina as a judge of the Podilskyi District Court of Kyiv.
Thus, in total, the Supreme Court of Justice has submitted a proposal for the appointment of eight judges to the courts of appeal and two to the local courts.
The final decision lies with the President
The submission of a proposal by the High Council of Justice does not yet mean that the candidates have already been appointed to the positions.
The next stage should be the appropriate decision of the President of Ukraine on their appointment.
