The Supreme Court of Justice recommended to the President to appoint three judges to the courts of appeal

The High Council of Justice has decided to submit applications to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy for the appointment of three judges to positions in courts of appeal.

As reported by the High Council of Justice, based on the results of consideration of the relevant materials, the Council supported the submission of applications for the appointment of Oleksandr Tomashevskyi and Olha Umanska to the positions of judges of the Mykolaiv Court of Appeal.

In addition, the High Council of Justice recommended appointing Oleksandr Rublya to the position of judge of the Transcarpathian Court of Appeal.

After submitting the applications, the final decision on the appointment of judges is made by the President of Ukraine in accordance with the requirements of the Constitution and legislation on the judiciary.

The High Council of Justice notes that the continuation of staffing of courts of appeal is an important step to reduce the burden on judges and ensure timely consideration of cases.
