The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has officially received the Program of Activities of the Cabinet of Ministers. The Parliament should consider the document in the near future in accordance with the established procedure.

This was announced by the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk.

“The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has received the Program of Activities of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. The Parliament will consider it in the near future in accordance with the established procedure,” he said.

The Program was registered in the parliament

The Cabinet of Ministers approved the Program of Activities of the Government on August 17, after which the document was submitted for consideration by the Verkhovna Rada.

On the same day, the parliament registered the draft resolution No. 15521 “On the Program of Activities of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine”.

The next stage should be the consideration of the document by the Verkhovna Rada.

What does the government program entail

Prime Minister Serhiy Koretsky noted that the document defines the key principles on which the further work of the Cabinet of Ministers should be based.

In particular, the program spells out the main goals of the government and specific tasks that need to be implemented.

A special emphasis is placed on personal responsibility for the implementation of the specified directions. According to the Prime Minister, the document actually fixes the list of what the government should do and identifies those responsible for each direction.

Now the Program of Activities of the Cabinet of Ministers must undergo the procedure of consideration in the Verkhovna Rada, as provided for by law.
