July 31 is the last day when young men born in 2009 can register for military registration remotely via the “Reserve+” application. After this date, the possibility of online registration for 17-year-olds will be unavailable.
We tell you who must register for military registration, how to do it, and what will change after July 31.
Who must register for military registration
According to current legislation, Ukrainian young men must register for military registration in the year they turn 17.
Until the end of July 31, this can still be done remotely via the “Reserve+” application, without visiting the territorial recruitment and social support center.
After this period, 17-year-olds will only have to apply in person to the CCK and SP.
How to register for military service through “Reserve+”
To register for military service, you must:
install or update the “Reserve+” application to the latest version;
log in via BankID;
select the “Register for military service” service;
check your personal data and confirm the application;
wait for the request to be automatically processed.
After successful registration, a “Reserve ID” with the status “Conscript” will appear in the application.
What will change after July 31
Starting from August 1, young men who have not yet turned 18 will no longer be able to register for military service online.
In this case, you will need to personally contact the territorial recruitment and social support center at your place of residence.
What will happen after reaching the age of 18
If a young man does not register for military service before reaching the age of majority, after reaching the age of 18 he can be registered automatically.
In this case:
information will be pulled from the registers of the State Migration Service;
you do not need to personally contact the CCC;
you do not need to pass a military medical examination;
the system will automatically determine the CCC at the place of registered or declared residence.
Also, after reaching the age of 18, registration can be completed independently through the “Reserve+” application.
How to check your status
You can check whether a person is registered in the “Reserve+” application.
After authorization via BankID, you need to confirm or update your contact details.
If registration has already taken place, the application will display “Reserve ID” with the status “Conscript”.
If the system shows the status “Not registered”, you must use the “Register” service. In case of errors or if the status does not change after submitting an application, you should contact the territorial recruitment and social support center.
