# UAH 45 billion to be allocated for e-Housing in 2027: what is known about the financing of the program
**The draft state budget for 2027 provides UAH 45 billion for the e-Housing preferential mortgage lending program. This is UAH 27.9 billion more than in 2026. At the same time, there is still no clear data on how many Ukrainian families will be able to receive new loans thanks to the increase in funding.**
People’s Deputy Nina Yuzhanina reported on the expenditures provided for in the draft budget.
In general, housing policy financing in 2027 is planned to be increased to **UAH 84.9 billion** — UAH 38.3 billion more compared to 2026. A significant part of the additional funds falls on e-Housing.
What will the additional 27.9 billion UAH be used for?
According to the data provided by Ukrfinzhytl, **28,879 families** have purchased their own housing under the program during the entire period of operation of the e-Housing program, and the total amount of loans issued is UAH 51.4 billion.
At the same time, there is no detailed explanation yet of how exactly the additional 27.9 billion UAH are planned to be used in 2027.
Among the possible directions are:
– financing of new mortgage loans;
– capitalization of Ukrfinzhytl;
– transfer of government bonds;
– financing of already issued loans.
It is also not yet determined how many new families will be able to use the program in 2027. Who can use e-Housing?
A preferential mortgage involves long-term lending, so to participate in the program, a potential borrower must meet the established conditions and be able to regularly fulfill credit obligations.
To assess the effect of increased funding, according to Yuzhanina, the financial plan of Ukrfinzhytl, information on sources of funds and a forecast for the number of new loans are needed.
How much more is planned to be spent on housing programs
In addition to financing e-Housing, the draft budget for 2027 also provides funds for other housing programs.
In particular:
– 24.4 billion UAH** — for e-Recovery, compensation, housing vouchers and subventions;
– 6.9 billion UAH** — for housing compensation for veterans with disabilities of groups I and II;
– 5.5 billion UAH** — for the HOME program;
– 2.4 billion UAH** — for providing housing for military personnel.
At the same time, we are talking about the indicators set **in the draft state budget for 2027. The final amounts of funding will depend on the law on the state budget adopted by the Verkhovna Rada.
