Ukraine and the Netherlands have agreed to launch the production of Ukrainian unmanned systems in the Netherlands within the framework of the Build with Ukraine program. This concerns the production of modern medium- and long-range strike drones for the needs of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov following a working visit to the Netherlands.

According to him, the production of Ukrainian mid-strike and deep-strike solutions will start in the near future, which will be financed by the Ministry of Defense of the Netherlands. At the first stage, all production will be aimed exclusively at providing the Ukrainian military.

During the visit, the Ukrainian delegation held a number of strategic meetings with representatives of the Dutch government, parliament, defense industry, and the research organization TNO.

Separately, the delegation visited the Destinus production facilities, where Ruta missiles are manufactured, which are already used by the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

According to Fedorov, the parties also signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of defense innovations and partnership between defense enterprises.

“Ukrainian technologies and combat experience help partners adapt faster to the challenges of modern warfare. And the support of allies allows us to scale up solutions that have already proven their effectiveness on the battlefield,” the minister emphasized.

Kyiv expects that the new stage of cooperation with the Netherlands will strengthen Ukraine’s defense potential and accelerate the technological modernization of the army.
