Kyiv is counting on political support from partners
Ukraine is ready to fulfill all the necessary conditions for joining the European Union by 2027. This was stated by the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk following a video conference with the leadership of the Dutch Parliament.
According to him, the Ukrainian side is determined to complete the set of reforms within the specified time frame and ensure full compliance with the EU membership criteria.
Reforms and the negotiation process
Stefanchuk emphasized that Ukraine is actively moving towards European integration and fulfilling its obligations within the negotiation process.
At the same time, Kyiv expects active and consistent support from international partners, which is important for accelerating membership negotiations.
The role of international support
The Speaker of the Parliament separately noted the position of the Netherlands, which demonstrates stable support for Ukraine’s European integration course.
According to him, political support from the European Union countries plays a key role in advancing the negotiation process and bringing Ukraine closer to full membership.
Thus, Ukraine confirms its strategic course for EU integration and demonstrates its readiness for the systemic changes necessary for accession in the coming years.
