Ukrainian pensioners can receive an additional payment of 1,000 hryvnias. Monobank has introduced a special promotion for citizens who will transfer their pension to a bank card. The offer is valid from October 1 to December 31, 2026.
Who can receive an additional thousand hryvnias
Under the terms of the promotion, pensioners must transfer their pension payments to a monobank card.
After the first pension is credited, the bank promises to pay 1,000 hryvnias to the client’s cashback account.
At the same time, the bank assumes all tax expenses. Thus, after withdrawing funds, the pensioner should receive exactly 1,000 hryvnias.
The money can be transferred to the main card and used for any needs, including:
payment for utilities;
purchase of food;
purchase of medicines;
other everyday expenses.
It is important that this is not a state pension supplement, but a one-time promotional payment from the bank. It does not increase the amount of the pension assigned by the Pension Fund of Ukraine.
How to transfer a pension to a monobank card online
You can change your bank details remotely via the Pension Fund of Ukraine web portal.
To do this, you need to:
Log in to the official Pension Fund portal using a qualified electronic signature or “Signature Action”.
Open the “Regarding pension provision” section.
Go to the “Making changes to the pension file” item.
Select the “Application for changing the method of pension payment” service.
Specify the details of the new bank account and send the application.
After considering the application, the Pension Fund will be able to direct subsequent pension payments to the specified account.
How to change bank through the Pension Fund or ASN
Pensioners who find it more convenient to apply for documents in person can contact the Pension Fund or ASN service center, which provides the appropriate service.
You must first create an application in the monobank application.
To do this, open the card settings, go to the “Card details” section, select “To receive payments” and create a document to receive a pension.
To submit an application, you may need:
A passport of a citizen of Ukraine;
Registration number of the taxpayer’s account card;
Bank account details;
An application to change the method of pension payment.
If a citizen is applying for a pension for the first time, the list of documents may be wider depending on the type of pension provision and the circumstances of its assignment.
What other benefits does the bank offer pensioners
In addition to a one-time payment, monobank announced additional terms of service for pension clients.
In particular, free withdrawal of pension funds at ATMs in Ukraine is provided.
At the same time, a standard commission of 0.9% may be applied to withdraw other own funds.
Free cash withdrawal is also available through the cash desks of partner banks, including:
Universal Bank;
A-Bank;
Accordbank;
Ukrgasbank.
Another advantage will be an increased cashback of 5% in the “Medicine” category.
According to the bank, this offer will be valid for 12 months after the first pension credit. It will allow you to return part of the funds spent during payments in relevant medical institutions and pharmacies.
The specific conditions for accruing cashback should be specified in the bank’s application.
By what date do you need to have time
The promotion with the payment of an additional 1,000 hryvnias is announced for the period from October 1 to December 31, 2026.
Since it may take time to transfer the pension to a new account, citizens who plan to take advantage of the offer should submit an application for changing the bank in advance.
Before registration, it is also advisable to check the current rules of the promotion and the deadlines for fulfilling its conditions directly in monobank.
We remind you that transferring a pension to another bank does not change its state size. The additional 1,000 hryvnia is a one-time bonus from the financial institution, and not a new monthly social payment.
