Ukrainians in four regions can apply for financial assistance to start or develop their own business. The maximum grant amount is 139,100 hryvnias, and applications are accepted until October 16, 2026.
This is a program of the Swiss international organization Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation, aimed at supporting micro and small businesses, in particular among vulnerable categories of the population.
In which regions is assistance available
The program operates in:
Kharkiv region;
Cherkasy region;
Odessa region;
Vinnytsia region.
Special attention is paid to applicants from small towns and rural areas. At the same time, applicants must not live or conduct business in the temporarily occupied territories.
Who can receive a grant
Applicants can apply for individual entrepreneurs, individuals engaged in independent commercial activities without registering as entrepreneurs, as well as Ukrainians who have relevant experience and plan to start their own business.
Priority will be given to representatives of vulnerable categories, including:
citizens over 60 years old;
veterans;
people with disabilities;
family members and caregivers of people with disabilities;
internally displaced persons;
IDPs and refugees who have returned home;
family members of deceased servicemen;
single and large mothers and fathers.
The organizers of the program will pay special attention to women and young people who are already engaged in entrepreneurship or are just planning to open their own business.
How much can you get
The maximum amount of financial assistance is 139,100 hryvnias. The amount may include personal income tax and military levy.
Grant funds can be used for businesses in the fields of production, services, HoReCa, small farming, construction and repair work.
The money is allowed to purchase equipment and consumables, and up to 20% of the grant can be used for the latter. Funding may also cover equipment setup services.
How to apply
To participate, you must complete a preliminary online registration and provide a business plan and video presentation of your activities.
If the applicant belongs to one of the priority categories, you must also attach documents confirming the relevant status, including an IDP certificate or a combatant certificate.
The deadline for applying for a grant is October 16, 2026.
