Ukrainians are paid up to 12 thousand hryvnias after the decree: who can receive assistance from “eJasla”

Parents who return to work after their child turns one year old can receive monthly state assistance under the e-Nursery program. The amount of the payment is 8 thousand hryvnias, and for families raising a child with a disability – 12 thousand hryvnias.

The e-Nursery program has been in effect since the beginning of 2026 and provides financial support for parents who go to work after their child turns one year old. You can receive funds every month until the child turns three years old.

Who can receive e-Nursery payments

To be granted assistance, parents must return to work after their child turns one year old. You can apply for benefits within six months of starting work.

If the child is already one year old at the time the program is launched, assistance can also be accrued from the beginning of the year – provided that the application is submitted on time.

As of September 2026, more than 23 thousand families have applied for participation in the program, and about 15 thousand families are already receiving funds.

How much will the state pay

The basic monthly payment under the program is 8,000 hryvnias.

For families raising a child with a disability, the amount of assistance increases to 12,000 hryvnias per month.

Thus, provided that the right to assistance is maintained, the family can receive state support until the child turns three years old.

What is allowed to spend money on

The funds of “e-Nursery” have a specific purpose. They can be used to pay for the services of private and municipal kindergartens, meals, clubs, on-call groups and the services of officially registered nannies.

The money is also allowed to be spent on children’s and family clothing, shoes, toys and sports goods.

How to receive payments

From August 2026, funds will be credited to a special account “Child Care” within the framework of the “Diya.Kartka” program. It can be opened online through the banking applications of PrivatBank, monobank, A-Bank, Sense Bank and Bank Credit Dnipro.

For those who apply for assistance in person through the Central Assistance Center or the Pension Fund, a QR code is provided for quick account opening. You can also open a special account at Oschadbank.

If a family is entitled to several types of state assistance for children, such payments are allowed to be combined in one account.
