Ukrainians can independently check whether the employer pays a single social contribution for them and whether the periods of work are counted towards the insurance experience. To do this, you need to order an OK-5 certificate through the electronic services of the Pension Fund of Ukraine.

This was reported by the Pension Fund of Ukraine.

What information does the OK-5 certificate contain

The PFU recommends using the mobile application “Pension Fund” or the electronic services of the department and generating an OK-5 certificate.

The document displays information about:

insurance experience;
periods of official employment;
payment of a single social contribution;
the amount of salary from which the employer paid contributions.

With the help of this certificate, the employee can check whether the employer fulfills its obligations and whether all months of work are counted towards the insurance experience.

How to identify missed periods

After receiving the OK-5 certificate, it is worth carefully checking the information for each month of work.

The absence of individual periods or information about incomplete payment of the single social contribution may indicate that the employer did not pay the contribution or paid it not in full.

In this case, the Pension Fund recommends first of all contacting the employer and finding out the reasons for the lack of information in the register.

What to do if the insurance period is not reflected

If the certificate reveals periods for which the single social contribution was not paid or was paid in part, citizens can contact the Pension Fund specialists for advice.

“If, having received the certificate, you discovered non-payment for some periods or partial payment of the single social contribution, contact your employer to clarify the circumstances. If you know the periods for which there is no payment, and you want to have insurance experience, there are ways to acquire it,” the PFU noted.

The fund’s specialists can provide clarification on:

voluntary payment of a single social contribution;

inclusion of individual periods of entrepreneurial activity in the insurance experience;
additional payments to the minimum insurance contribution in cases provided for by law.

The Pension Fund advises you to regularly check the OK-5 certificate. This will allow you to timely identify problems with the payment of contributions and avoid the loss of insurance experience, on which the right to a pension and its amount will depend in the future.

Earlier, the Pension Fund of Ukraine began financing pension payments for August. The funds will be received by pensioners gradually according to the approved schedule.
