Up to €20,000 for business: Ukrainians can receive grants from Germany

Ukrainian entrepreneurs affected by the war can receive financial support of up to 20,000 euros under a new grant program implemented by the International Organization for Migration with funding from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development. The initiative is aimed at restoring small businesses, preserving jobs and providing the population with essential goods in times of war.

Who can receive assistance

This is the project “Viability+: Economic Integration of IDPs and War Victims”. Entrepreneurs operating in the following regions can participate in the program:

Kyiv and region

Chernihiv and region

Sumy and region

Priority is given to applicants whose businesses were damaged, destroyed or forced to relocate due to hostilities. It is also important that the enterprise has the potential to restore operations and create or preserve jobs.

What can the funds be spent on

Entrepreneurs will be able to use the received grants for:

recovery or relocation of the business
purchase of equipment and raw materials
expand production
covering critical operating costs

The program is designed not only to support individual businesses, but also to promote the overall economic recovery of the regions most affected by the war.
