Veteran’s e-certificate in “Diya” has become available without a paper document

Ukrainians with veteran status can now receive an electronic certificate without issuing a paper equivalent. The new service in Diia allows you to add a document immediately after confirming the data in the state register.

According to the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the digital certificate is automatically uploaded to the application without the need to contact institutions or wait for the production of a paper document. This greatly simplifies veterans’ access to state services.

To add a certificate, simply go to the “Documents” section in Diia, select the add function and select the appropriate type of document – after that it will appear automatically. The photo is uploaded from an ID card or international passport, which ensures the correctness of the data display.

In addition, you can check the veteran status and personal information in the “Veteran PRO” section, which is integrated with the Unified State Register of War Veterans.
