People’s Deputy of Ukraine from the “Servant of the People” faction Pavlo Frolov commented on the one-month break in the plenary work of the Verkhovna Rada. According to him, the parliament did not go on vacation, and people’s deputies continue to work in committees and regions.

“It is only about a break in the plenary sessions”

Frolov emphasized that currently only a break in the plenary sessions of the parliament has been announced, while the work of people’s deputies continues.

“Actually, we didn’t go on vacation. A break has been announced in the plenary session… I don’t have a vacation, we work in the regions,” said the parliamentarian.

He also emphasized that, despite the planned date of the next plenary meeting on August 18, the Verkhovna Rada can promptly convene earlier in case of an urgent need or the introduction of urgent legislative initiatives.

Committees continue to work

Earlier, the head of the Parliamentary Committee on the Organization of State Power, Olena Shulyak, also explained that it was only about a pause in the plenary work.

According to her, during this period, parliamentary committees continue to prepare draft laws, and deputies work on legislative initiatives and fulfill their duties in the districts.
