The woman who arrived at a private house in Petropavlivska Borshchahivka, Kyiv region, on November 2 wearing medical clothing and presenting herself as the owner of a private clinic, had an investigative journalist’s ID with her. At the same time, the medical institution she allegedly represented ceased operations in 2023.

According to journalists, this is Valentyna Moloda, who introduced herself as the owner of the private clinic “Med-Prestige” during the incident. She stated that people were allegedly being illegally detained in the building, including the wounded.

According to Borys Breus, head of the preventive activities department of the Main Police Department in Kyiv region, it was this woman who spread information about the possible illegal detention of servicemen and called the police.

What is known about the woman and her journalistic certificate

Journalists established that Valentyna Moloda had an investigative journalist’s certificate issued by the public organization “All-Ukrainian Alliance of Citizens of Social-Patriotic Projects and National Development “Side by Side””.

According to YouControl, this organization was registered in December 2018, and Moloda herself is its founder and representative.

In addition, she is associated with a number of other public organizations and enterprises, including in the field of medicine.

The Med-Prestige clinic has not been operating since 2023

According to “Slidstva.Info”, the Med-Prestige clinic, the owner of which the woman called herself, actually ceased operations in 2023.

The owner of the company, Mykhailo Furman, confirmed to journalists that the medical institution is no longer operating, although the legal entity remains registered.

According to him, the company previously owned five ambulances. One of them was handed over to the military, and the rest were sold.

The car that arrived in Petropavlivska Borshchagovka was sold in 2024. At the same time, the buyers had to remove the symbols of the medical institution from it.

Furman emphasized that third parties do not have the right to use the company’s trademark or represent themselves as its owners.
