Zelensky instructed the government to prepare a solution against price increases

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has instructed the Cabinet of Ministers to develop additional programs to curb price increases and support the population in conditions of economic instability.

The head of state announced this in his video address.

Response to economic challenges

According to the President, the issue of price stability became one of the key ones during discussions with government officials.

“External instability always manifests itself in very sensitive price fluctuations. The government must prepare steps in this regard – I count on systemic solutions,” Zelenskyy emphasized.

What is expected of the government

The President expects the Cabinet of Ministers to propose comprehensive mechanisms that will allow:

to reduce the impact of inflation on citizens;

to support the most vulnerable categories of the population;

to stabilize the domestic market.

The rise in prices in Ukraine remains a sensitive socio-economic issue, especially against the backdrop of war and global economic fluctuations.

It is expected that the government will soon present specific solutions that should mitigate price pressure and provide additional social protection for Ukrainians.
