Zelensky to meet with Trump in the US next week — media

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will pay a working visit to the United States next week, during which he will meet with US President Donald Trump.

According to the publication, the Ukrainian leader’s visit is scheduled for July 28. As part of the trip, Volodymyr Zelensky will take part in a farewell ceremony for US Senator Lindsey Graham, and will also hold separate talks with US President Donald Trump.

The meeting is expected to be the first after the recent contacts between Kyiv and Washington regarding further military support for Ukraine, cooperation in the defense industry, and security guarantees.

Recall, on July 12, it became known about the death of Republican Senator Lindsey Graham. The politician was 71 years old. Shortly before that, on July 10, he visited Kyiv, where he met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Lindsey Graham has been one of the most consistent advocates of support for Ukraine in the US Congress for many years and has repeatedly advocated for strengthening sanctions against Russia, as well as expanding military aid to Kyiv.
